RUPTURE OF HIGH-COHESIVE SILICONE IMPLANT AFTER GUNSHOT INJURY - BY - Luiz Haroldo Pereira (Plastic Surgeon)

This is a very rare case and the only case in literature of a damage of a breast implant due to a gunshot. The gunshot caused leakage of the silicone gel from both entry and exit wounds of the breast. We are communicating that the 35 year old woman was shot in the thoracic area. More details about this story next week. Dr. Luiz Haroldo Pereira has accomplished the second surgery in order to fix up the damage caused by the shots. The patient has recovered with no complications.
